'Gothia' my new Gothic and vintage style artisian necklace

I was determined to make something truly Gothic looking and different from my recent pieces. Hopefully I have succeeded!

I started by Aging a strip of sterling silver and then I twisted the wire and hammered to give a lovely old feel. Next I added this fantastic skull and cross bones charm, oxidised sterling silver butterfly, black roses and vintage key. Of course I also added my signature touch of black satin ribbon.

You can find out how to purchase this and other pieces by clicking here!

Who Stole The Tarts? Vintage inspired Alice In Wonderland Necklace Featuring The White Rabbit

I just love this pendant. The Image of the white rabbit is one of my favourites from the novel. It's another addition to the Alice in wonderland series and features the white rabbit in the court room scene where they try to find out who stole the tarts, as well as a cute playing card and vibrant red rose and satin ribbon. I just love the way the white rabbit is pictured in a vintage colour tone on a worn away paper background, it looks perfect for a vintage theme!

I'm hoping to make a few cheaper pendants due to the C word... yes the Credit crunch, so look out for some cheaper buys over the next few weeks. I have some very unique and stylish new pendants that I can't wait to begin using on jewellery designs. So keep checking back for new designs.

Oh Joy!!!

I just have to share this with you! For a while now I have been watching and admiring the work of talented Polymer clay bead and jewellery artist Jennifer Morris.

I decided to purchase a pair of her 'Chefs choice super surprise earrings' Each purchase of these means that Jennifer gets to choose the colour of your earrings so that its a little surprise that comes through the post. What a lovely idea!

Today mine came through in a gorgeous box and in a cute little satin pouch! I love them! Thanks Jennifer these were a joy to receive and I'm wearing them as I type!

Summers Blush

I can't seem to help but make jewellery with a nice summery feel, maybe it's because the weather is so terrible, and cold!

Here is a necklace that I made from one of the wonderful beads that Mark bought me for my birthday last year made by the fantastic Jan Jennings.

More pictures to come.... so watch this space!

New Addition

It's been a while since my last web update, or my last blog post for that matter! I have still been busy creating and it was my birthday at the weekend so I stayed away from the computer! There's a new bracelet that's been added to my website. I've named it 'Confused Heather' after the beads that I've used to make it. These were created by Tania from 'Tan of course'.

I've also been trying to get ready for Christmas, I'm dreading the thought of fighting my way through the crowds this weekend to get a bit of shopping done.... on second thoughts I may look to the internet!

Glass Beaded Bracelet- Commisions Galore!!!

Well with Christmas coming up I'm having plenty of commissions thrown at me, which is great! Some people just can't find what they're looking for and I love trying to help, although I always get a bit nervous as to whether I have created something they really like!

Here is my latest project, a purple and black beaded bracelet to match a necklace that my customer was desperate to have a 'set' for. This time I've used black cord as my base and wrapped around lots of beads! I like the finished result and think I shall be adapting this style in the future!

Yesterday I went into town for the first time since I left my job at Burtons and it felt really strange going back, but I was secretly very pleased not to have to be at work but able to shop instead! I picked up a beautiful new scarf and coat and did a spot of lunch! Oh I love having weekends off!
