All the fun of the (vintage) Fair! Sheffield 26th September

Last Saturday I headed over to Sheffield with my friend to take a look at the Vintage Fair. It's wonderful get together of vintage stalls, clothes, jewellery and lots more! There was so much to see and I particularly enjoyed the Fancie Cupcakes on offer! I managed to get one rather naff picture as it was so busy it was hard to take any pictures! But I did pick up this lovely vintage hand bag for just £5... Bargain! The Vintage fair is coming to Manchester next Saturday the 10th of October and I will be showcasing my work and newest designs, some of which wont be available on the websites. I'm Late! I'm Late!


Hope you're all enjoying the lovely weather if it's as nice where you are as it is here! Mark and I had a lovely walk to the market today to pick up some bits. The sky was completely blue!

Here is a lovely addition to my Alice in Wonderland collection. My 'I'm Late! I'm Late!' necklace is a fabulous piece to add to anybody's Alice in Wonderland collection! I've used a gorgeous illustrated white rabbit cabochon pendant and complimented it with gold tone chain. I've tried something a little unique this time. One side of the chain is encrusted with fabulous diamonte whilst the other side features pretty fresh water pearls all finished with pretty pink ribbon!

Vintage Style Necklace- Carousel Horse!

The weather in Manchester today is fantastic and there are lots of people out and about. Unfortunately I've been out at work today but I'm still home in time to appreciate some sun shine.

A new creation- My vintage style 'Carousel Horse' necklace, comprising of a Large vintage carousel horse charm, Mother of pearl hearts and satin ribbon, on gold chain. Another simple but stunning design, suitable for going out at night, or casual days!

Yes, I'm still here. I've had one of those weeks. Poor Mark, my partner was very ill on Monday and the doctor diagnosed a muscle virus and tonsillitis so he's literally been laid up in bed all week. He's feeling much better now though which is a relief!

Had a chance to make another Alice in Wonderland themed charm bracelet today as they have all sold, apart from one which I've reserved. This will be my last Alice in Wonderland themed bracelet for a while, as I focus on using up more of my materials before buying more charms and parts!

Spring is coming!

I actually nipped to the shop with just a cardi on this morning, well not just a cardi because that would be insane, but no coat anyhow! I'm getting that lovely feeling you get when you can smell that spring is on it's way but not quite. The mornings are brighter which makes it easier to get up and the nights are longer which means no nasty walking home in the dark! Love it!

I love this vintage inspired charm bracelet. I have delicately selected individual charms that compliment each other perfectly achieving a classy vintage feel. The bracelet encompasses beautiful cameo flower charms in a gorgeous shade of blue and cream, delicate Swarovski crystals encased in a cross, fresh water pearls, Iolite beads and various other selected beads strung on a thick (high quality) silver plated chain.

Here's one of my latest designs featuring a copper look bow. You may have noticed that I've been experimenting with my pictures. The truth is that I would really like to be able to take my own pictures and having the white back ground makes it too hard for me to edit. My partner Mark usually does them for me but I want to be able to do them myself. I'll keep having a practice!

Vintage Finds

I found these wonderful earrings on Etsy and fell in love. I had to order them! They are from a seller called Vintage Fabulous, and I adore so much in their store I've had to stop looking for now. They have lots of original vintage finds!

Had quite a busy week this week, been out and about visiting recruiters and a couple of interviews. I really really hate interviews... I get so so nervous! I did quite well though I think although I narrowly missed out on one job. Still waiting to hear about a second interview for the other one. Both were with well known banks.

I also had time to make some jewellery today, I have lots to show. Just need Mark to photograph for me. Shouldn't be long now.

A couple of pairs of earrings, that I 'whipped up'. I'm loving the gold look at the minute it has a certain class about it I think, and a vintage 'feel'.
