Manchester Natural History Museum

Last weekend My Mum and Dad came to see us for the weekend. It had been my Mum's 50th Birthday so we decided to cook a special meal and have a few drinks at ours. During the day on Saturday we did some shopping then we thought we would check out The Manchester Museum. Mark and I had never been and as it's free to go, so we thought it would be a good day out!

Here are some of the things the museum has to offer. I particularly liked learning about the Egyptians and the Reptile Tanks!

Here is the massive Japanese crab that greets you as you enter the museum!

Of course I was drawn to these rather beautiful Butterflies!

A cheeky Looking lizard in the Reptile Tanks

A snake just chilling out on a branch

A couple of the Egyptian Tombs

A rather fierce looking Tiger, we couldn't believe how big this was!

A massive skeleton of a sperm whale
We had a Fab weekend, it was so nice to see Mum and Dad and show them some Manchester sights! But we were ready for another weekend after and slept well on Sunday night!

was that a real snake? I love how he was evenly draped over that branch.

That crab is freaky! Like a big shellfish spider. *Shudder*

Looks like an interesting place, I just bought a stripey long-sleeved T-shirt in the same colours as cheeky lizard!
