Alice In wonderland 'diamonds and pearls' edition- vintage inspired charm bracelet

I wanted to make an Alice in wonderland charm bracelet that screamed class and glamour whilst also capturing the magic of the infamous story. I decided to cram this one with lots of gold charms and beautiful illustrated pictures from the novel, I complimented the gold chain and Alice charms with cream glass pearls and super sparkly swarovski crystals representing the 'diamonds'. Each piece has been lovingly hand attached to the chain, the centre piece comprising of a beautiful fully functioning locket adorned with a black and white illustration of Alice and the pig baby. I'm really pleased with the finished item of jewellery and feel this piece is definately a must for any Alice enthusiast!

Are these just the cutest thing ever??- African Pygmy Hedgehogs!

I can't believe how cute these little things are. Tiny Hedgehogs originally from Africa are now becoming the latest must have pet! I didn't know anything about them until earlier in the week when I spotted a newspaper article about them.
After researching and looking into them a little bit more, Mark and me have decided we would like to give one a home. We have found a reputable breeder who has just had a litter and has another on the way and we have been put on the waiting list. We have been thinking about getting a pet for a long time, but thought it would be unfair to get a dog or cat due to us living in a 10th floor apartment a APH (African Pygmy Hedgehog) seems like the perfect pet as while we are at work he will be sleeping and should be up ready to play in the evening.

However if you are thinking about owning a Pygmy hedgehog please do your research carefully. There have been a lot of articles recently about them and some people just don't realise the work involved. I have joined a forum called Pygmy Hogs UK for extra help and support.

The Manchester Vintage Fair Saturday the 10th Of October at The Met

Wow! I had such a wonderful time at the Manchester Vintage fair. My hours of hard work definitely paid off and I got to meet some fabulous people! There were a whole host of goodies to be snapped up and I managed to grab a couple while I was there!

I took most of my stock, including some new designs and was thrilled with the response from customers. This was my first fair and I cant wait to do another!

If you couldn't make this one there is another event in Sheffield on the 5th Of December and another in Manchester On the 12th Of December. I am hoping to attend both!

Here are some pictures from the event!

All the fun of the (vintage) Fair! Sheffield 26th September

Last Saturday I headed over to Sheffield with my friend to take a look at the Vintage Fair. It's wonderful get together of vintage stalls, clothes, jewellery and lots more! There was so much to see and I particularly enjoyed the Fancie Cupcakes on offer! I managed to get one rather naff picture as it was so busy it was hard to take any pictures! But I did pick up this lovely vintage hand bag for just £5... Bargain!
