To sell or not to sell?
I am really liking the freshness of these Mojito earrings, crammed with amethyst and featuring two of Laura Sparling's lamp work beads! The problem is I really don't want to sell them.... Oh what to do?!

More Alice in Wonderland Charm Bracelets featuring an Alice locket
Yes, even more Alice in Wonderland themed bracelets, they are becoming so popular and I love creating them. The charms are so gorgeous that they make every individual piece a pleasure to work on. This particular design uses a gorgeous Alice silver tone locket, little charms saying "I love cake", silver toned tea pots, a silver queen of hearts crown, blue pot/clay flowers and even a little bottle with a note inside saying "drink me". All the well known references from the classic story are captured so beautifully in these charms. I just love making them.

UFO!
Yes... un-finished objects! A term brandished about by us jewellery designers as we start a project and then abandon it in search of something new. These Carnival earrings have been just that. I made one some time ago and then neglected it for a few weeks whilst I went on to pastures new. I looked at the lonely earring today and decided to make him a friend :o)

The Weekend!
.... well for me anyhow! I had to work today and working as a collector is not the best thing on a Saturday, for some reason people just don't want to talk to you about how much money they owe!
Mark and me are going to the cinema tonight to watch Slum Dog Millionaire. It's got a good write up so I'm quite excited.
Two days off now so hopefully some more jewellery making! I have a couple of projects to finish so I'll be getting on with them.
Here is my Ice Queen bracelet, just about to be listed on Etsy now. It features a beautiful lamp work bead by Jan Jennings, sterling silver, crystals and Opalite!

Thank You Laura!
The magnificent Laura Sparling has added me as a featured artist on her blog. I've given an interview for an insight into my work. Laura is such a great bead artist and I love working with her beads! Laura will be featuring a different jewellery artist each month so keep an eye out as there is sure to be some fantastic artists and interesting interviews!

Roses Are Red
Had a lovely valentines yesterday, despite being at work for most of it. I returned home to find Mark stood with a bunch of 12 red roses, some champagne and dinner cooking on the hob. Lovely! Not only that but he managed to get some tickets for us to see Blur down the road at Manchester M.E.N in June. Can't wait!!! What a lucky girl I am!

Ribbons and Bows Galore!
There is something really feminine about bows and ribbons and I've been using them a lot lately with my designs. I also feel it helps create a vintage feel with my jewellery. Here's a couple of pairs of earrings with 'added bows'. Check out my Etsy store later!

Alice in wonderland charm bracelet - various vintage Alice charms
Alice..... what's the matter?
Another Alice in Wonderland charm bracelet creation! Should be on Etsy tomorrow (wednesday) with any luck!
This lovely bracelet was made from some beautiful Alice themed cameo charms featuring vintage looking illustrations of Alice, The White Rabbit and other iconic Alice in Wonderland items featured throughout the story. I absolutely love the attention to detail within the individual charms (especially the tea pot) and the way that even the little bottle has a message inside saying "drink me", how cute is that? I have also thrown in some handmade polymer clay roses that really finish the bracelet off. The whole bracelet has been strung on a lovely thick plated gold chain. The more i describe this charm bracelet, the more I want to keep it for my self :0)

Here is a creation made from some wonderful beads by Laura Sparling, Mark had bought me them as a gift and I decided to create something using lots of Amethyst and silver. I love them! And wore them when I went to a party on Saturday night.
